reviewer holding the dirty mop pad, looking shocked at how much dirt it picked upreviewer pic of the green pad attached to a Swifter mop

1. Reusable microfiber pads specifically designed to fit your Swiffer WetJet, so you can just throw them in the wash (instead of the trash) when you're done wet or dry-mopping the floor. Reviewers confirm that these pads actually work better than the disposable ones and pick up more dirt and dust from the floor.

Promising review: "Works great on tile and wood floors. This is the same swifter jet I recently purchased from Costco, Simple set up. Batteries work great and I love how easy this is to use. I use this for tile and wood floors. All floors look great, Not sure why others are having trouble with it. Getting refills was a challenge, due to corona shortages. , but I got lucky and found a 2 pack of the blue colored refills on amazon. The blue formula seems to clean well. No streaks or residue and leaves a nice shine. I wouldn’t say it’s for deep cleaning. I would need a steamer for that. But it’s works on my moderate traffic floors.Swifter wet jet was delivered earlier than promised. I am happy with this purchase and recommend this product and seller" — Linda

BuzzFeed editor, Jess Probus holding the TubShroom filled with hair

2. The TubShroom is one of the most effective products for preventing hair clogs in your tub. It has some of the most disgusting but oh-so-satisfying review images. You may wonder how you still have hair on your head after using this product...but at least it won't be backing up your tub anymore.

Promising review: "It's amazing how much this thing catches considering it's this cheap ... Update #2: 2.5 years later and I’ve only had to unclog the drain once, and I believe it was just because of soap scum.Update: more than a year later and I have yet to have to unclog the drain!I am one of those people who clogs the shower drains with my hair. It got to the point where I brushed my hair well before getting in and then kept a brush in the shower to wrap the excess hair in while shampooing, and would STILL clog the drain every 6 weeks or so. I've had this about 2 months now and thought I'd really test it out by no longer brushing my hair before or during the shower. No clogs! It's amazing how much this thing catches considering it's this cheap looking piece of rubber that doesn't even fit well. I will say, it's much easier (and a lot less slimy) to clean when dry. And the loose fit (& lightweight) means sometimes my cat thinks he can play with it again and I'll find it in the bedroom floor. I tell everyone I know about this thing." — Megan

3. This Furemover squeegee not only removes pet hair from deep in your carpet that your vacuum can't reach, but it also works on human hair. Plus, it has a squeegee edge so you can also use it to clean your shower, windows, and even car windshield. We love a multipurpose product!

Promising review: "Ridiculously Effective I feel bad that I didn't take pictures to back up what I'm about to tell you, but let me assure you this broom is the real deal! And even as I type this, I'm sort of embarrassed that my house sounds so gross to achieve the results I'm about to reveal to you, but even with daily cleanups (with inadequate tools), there is a lot of hair and dirt that gets tracked around by eight pets and two humans. That said...I have a number of area rugs that, because they're handwoven, I was advised not to vacuum. But, honestly, the crappy little carpet sweeper I had didn't do squat and I'd break down and begrudgingly vacuum them from time to time. Then I started reading reviews about this broom. I was like "Nah...no way...can't be that good..." but I ordered it anyway.HOLY SMOKES!Within just a few light strokes I was pulling up strands of hair and fur that had seemingly become a part of the carpet. And when I say "light strokes" I mean it. I've read some reviews where people say it can be a workout. I suppose that depends on how deep the pile of the carpet or rug is...in my case, it was super easy and within 3 quick minutes I had a disgusting pile of hair and dirt scraped from the surface of my 7x10 area rug. WHERE HAS THIS THING BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?!?Then I decided to try the carpet in our bedroom. It was a little bit tougher to "sweep" but equally effective. And finally I decided to use the squeegee side, dry, on our wood laminate flooring just to see how it worked. Within 3 strokes I had dirt, hair, and the tiny irritating kitty litter sand granules piling up on the floor. Amazing!I was giddy. My husband thought I'd lost my mind that I was so excited about a cleaning tool. I handed it to him and said "Well, YOU try it..." He smiled and said "Nope! You're not going to trick me like that..." RATS! Almost had him. Anyway, I've only used it a few times and have had ZERO problems, but I can see where people would advise to ditch the telescoping pole and use a solid painter's pole with the metal tip. I will not do that until/unless I have to...If you've made it this far in my review, then thank you...and you must be really bored. But the fact that I wrote so much about a broom/mop/sweeper is even amazing to me. I wouldn't hesitate to give this six stars if I could!" — R Walker

Before: a dirty shower floor; after: the clean shower floor

4. A weekly, bleach-free shower spray you simply spray in your shower, leave overnight, and rinse the next day. Yes, this cleaner is basically the set it and forget it of shower cleaners.

Promising review: "Works great!! I wasn't sure if this would clean my shower doors without me first scrubbing them first but thought I would give it a try. I started just spraying one of the doors so I could compare it to the other door. Within the first couple of days I noticed it started working. I sprayed it every day and within a couple of weeks it looked great. The doors have a pattern in them so they will never look perfectly clear. In the pictures I put a pink hand towel on the sink so it would show up good. The door on the left is the one I didn't spray at all yet and the door on the right is after it was clean. I will definitely continue to use this product." — Gail Carnes

5. Introducing the newest way to clean your windows blinds - the microfiber window blind cleaner with three blades! With this product, you can clean the top and bottom of two blinds at once - quickly and easily picking up all the dust you hadn't realized had been sitting in your home.

Promising review: "Finally! A product that works on all types of blinds! I love this product!! It works fantastic! I am a housekeeper for several private homes. My least favorite job . . . cleaning window blinds! I have used about every method there is, but the job is still very time consuming. The main reason it takes so long is you must clean each and every slat separately to do the job right. Not any more! With this product you can clean two slats at once and it cleans them the first swipe! The micro fiber is the key to getting all the dust and the design of the product makes it super easy! PLUS this tool can be used on different types of blinds because it is flexible! I have used it on wooden shutters, plastic vertical patio door blinds, and horizontal metal "mini" blinds. Additionally, the micro fiber "sleeve" that fits on the tool is washable and it comes with five of them so its a real value, being reusable and with so many to use it should last a long time before they all completely wear out! This product deserves 10 stars!" — Sandy D

6. Assuming you would like a similar sentence:The Fur-Zoff pet hair remover is an effective way to remove fur from your car seats, carpets, and couches.

Promising review: "AWESOME, A MUST BUY YES it works!! Bonus tip here. Mix about 4 oz of fabric softener in a 32 0z spay bottle and VERY LIGHTLY mist the carpet or floor mats (wet is bad). Use rubber gloves like you would use to wash dishes in really hot water and just use your hands to roll up the pet hair. This will get all that hair in the nooks and other areas you cant use the Fur-Zoff as well as the majority of all the hair. Then bring in the closer. This will get 100% of any hair remaining, it is really great. I have 2 WHITE/GRAY snow dogs and my all black Wrangler interior often looks like a snow storm blew through after even a short trip. Between my rubber glove wipe down and Fur-Zoff I'm absolutely hair free in 15 minutes." — John G. Vincent

A tiled bathroom floor with white grout from the pen and brown grout on parts not yet markedThe same bathroom floor with completely white grout between the tiles

7. Introducing the grout pen – your solution to transforming your bathroom or kitchen floor from drab to fab! This pen easily restores your floor to its pristine color of yesteryear with minimal effort on your part, making it the perfect solution for any home improvement project.

Promising review: "Very Honest Review from a Typical Buyer This is one of those products that has a lot of upsides but several downsides. To preface, I have a roughly 20-square-foot white tile floor in my apartment bathroom. When I moved in, the grout was very discolored and made the tile look dirty. I was extremely skeptical about this product, but it was a reasonably priced solution and a top seller on Amazon, so I gave it a shot.I followed the very simple directions on the pen (clean floors, remove cap, shake pen, use), and was initially amazed by the results. My nearly gray tile grout was being transformed back to white. Although, after I got through about 6 square-feet of tile, the pen tip started to fall apart. Was it still usable? Yes. Did it hinder the quality of the paint job? Also yes.Additionally, the paint ran out much quicker than expected. I was able to get a single coat on the entire tile floor, but the 60 meters of coverage they claim is a little far fetched.Nonetheless, my tile floors look good. A couple tips (no pun intended): get two pens because the coverage is less than advertised, apply 2 coats, REALLY clean the floors before you start (I didn’t deep clean nearly enough and the grime made the paint job much harder), consider another solution unless you have white tile as well (I feel as if this pen would not be great if you needed to be precise), and don’t push as hard on the tip to increase the pen’s longevity.Hope this helps! Still a good product, just a couple things to keep in mind before you buy." — Jake Hofstetter

8. A screen cleaner kit that comes with a spray and microfiber cloth to clean your TV and leave it streak-free in seconds. With thiskit, you'll be able to get back to your Netflix binge in no time.

Promising review: "Not suitable for screens/electronics; acidic pH level! ScreenMom never responded when I emailed them asking about the pH level of this screen cleaner, so I went ahead and measured it myself with cheap pH test strips (see photo). The cleaner appears to be closer to the 6 pH range when it should be 7, i.e. neutral. This acidity could damage electronics over time; I saw another Amazon review where ScreenMom destroyed a Mac laptop screen, so overall I would NOT recommend this product.I will update this review when I find a good neutral pH electronic screen cleaner - currently looking at the one by Better Life.UPDATE: Better Life’s Screen Cleaner has a 2-5 ph level so I would not recommend that either. The Better Life glass cleaner has a 6.5-7.5 pH level so that might be better suited for electronics. If you’re worried about cleaning chemicals damaging your electronics, I’d recommend cleaning them with a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with just plain water." — H

9. Wouldn't it be great to have a microfiber duster that actually trap dust particles instead of having them fly around the room, making it seem even dirtier than before? Plus, when you're done cleaning, you can just remove the cloth and throw it in the washing machine.

Promising review: "Stop shedding so much dude While I never thought I'd be writing a review on a hand duster, here I am. OXO typically makes very quality products with my past experiences, so I decided to get this duster since I've embarrassingly accumulated way too much dust in my bedroom that it even drove this bachelor nuts. You'd think a duster would be something you couldn't mess up: it just needs to be able to pick up dust efficiently. Well, while it certainly does pick up dust well, it also sheds way too easily.Since my plastered white walls weren't made by the finest Italian architect of this century, it has a few spots where it's not 100% smooth since it's textured, which I feel is not uncommon. Due to the texture though, in a few select spots the duster will get "caught" and shed, leaving annoying red pieces of fiber. Even though they certainly aren't huge, given that my walls are white, it's certainly noticeable. I stupidly figured I could just dust away the red spots with this same duster, and boy that was dumb. Needless to say, it looks like Clifford the Big Red Dog violently exploded in my bedroom. Poor dog.If they can design this duster to stop shedding so much, that'd be great." — Zav

Before and after image of a shower door with hard water stains turned totally clean again

10. A set of scrubbing attachments you'll want to constantly use, because they will get everything clean without causing your arm to hurt from too much scrubbing.

Promising review: "Excellent purchase-exactly as described I’m in love with this. I manage many apartment properties and finding people to do the cleaning has been tricky business, so I end up having to get in and clean these horrendous filth pods tenants lived in and left me to deal with when they move out. The ovens and stove tops are usually the worst, and I absolutely hate cleaning. I came across this drill attachment set and let me tell you it helped me tremendously! I still had to get in with a putty knife on some of them but it really cut down my elbow grease time. I’ve posted some pictures for you, the dirty oven is after me attacking it with a green scrubbie for quite some time (note: the white stuff all over is heavy duty commercial grade oven gel cleaner I sprayed on it two weeks ago and still was struggling to get it clean.) and then I received the text that my package was delivered and I ran home immediately to get it and finish the job. I don’t have a picture of the oven before I started but let me tell you it was nasty, one of the worst I’ve seen. If it wasn’t for this drill attachment, I think my arms would have just fallen off trying to clean it as good as I did! My only con would be that it doesn’t have any extension of any sort so I really had my drill all up in that oven, but well worth it." — Faedaa

A white pumice stone with a handleA before and after pic of a toilet bowl with gray rings and without them

11. A pumice stone can help remove stains from your toilet bowl that you thought were permanent.

Promising review: "Really works! I have very hard water that leaves hard water buildup and nasty stains. It’s embarrassing to have guests over because the toilets are so gross! I have tried so many products and cleaning solutions- from natural essential oils to harsh chemicals so strong I was light headed for the rest of the day. I had many failed experiments and one that was semi-successful. The before picture of the toilet was after 5 sessions of an hour plus scrubbing with the semi-successful option (you can see where the ring is more faint to the left). Well I tried out this pumice stone after reading about it in a buzzfeed article, and honestly the hype is real! It does take some elbow grease, but the after picture is from only 20 minutes of scrubbing, light enough that I didn’t break a sweat! The stone does get used up, but I think this one should last me a couple years at least. So if you have embarrassing toilets- try this!" — Stephanie Ray

12. A Shark robot vacuum is guaranteed to make you feel like you're living in the future because it will vacuum your whole house for you. Yeah, you heard that right. Cross vacuum off your to-do list because this gadget's got it covered.

Promising review: "I love “Ringo Sharkey” Yes, I named it Ringo Sharkey, after the Beatles’ drummer. Ringo Starr’s real last name is Starkey, so I couldn’t resist. Plus, Ringo Sharkey looks like a big black beetle, and drums on things it bumps into, so… perfect name. Anyway, I love my Ringo. It has great suction power, and that’s what I wanted in a helper vacuum. I don’t use Alexa, I just plop Ringo down in whatever area I need vacuum support, and push the Clean button. It doesn’t look like the most efficient vacuuming job as it’s happening, and sometimes I redirect Ringo, but when it’s done, the carpet (low pile) looks great, and I can see from Ringo’s suction trail how well it’s covered an area. It’s cutting down my vacuuming with the Shark Rocket by at least half, and that’s a win in my book. Ringo also finds things the Rocket doesn’t, so I appreciate that. One pet with longish hair who sheds regularly, older low-pile carpeting — totally recommend. Easy to empty the bin, and rinse the permanent filter (in bin) and check the replaceable, removable one. I move smaller objects out of Ringo’s way, but I have to do that when I vacuum with the Rocket, so no big deal. If you just want a vacuum that actually vacuums, this is a great option, and the price is reasonable." — scentcat

13. Some Bissell stomp 'n go pads reviewers say are super easy to use because as the name says, all you have to do is stomp and go on any area where your pet has had an accident. It'll disappear in no time.

Promising review: "Worth it! For years I have used a Bissell Spot Clean machine and that worked great. But it was a pain to take out everytime my cat got sick. I also didn't like the little "UFO circles" that the machine left...but it was worth it instead of the stain. Then I saw these and decided to give them a try. They are WONDERFUL! So easy to use and very effective. I do leave the pads down for about 24 hours just to be sure. You do need to get rid of as much moisture and "other stuff" before using the pad because obviously the pad can't do that! And for some particularly gross or large stains I still use the machine because I think it does a better job on those types. Unfortunately, my cat gets sick... A LOT. So these have been a great time saver!" — DLM

A smooth top stove with stains and deposits and an

14. A glass and ceramic cookware cleanup kit that includes a heavy-duty scrubber, razor blade, and a cleaner specifically designed to remove burnt-on foods and stains.

Promising review: "Amazing results.. your stove will look brand new!! I just moved into my new home and my stove top was clean but you could tell it had been used as you see in the pictures. I used the Weiman cleaner and it did nothing for the stuck on burnt food around each burner. Also the stainless steel part of my stove had splotches of discoloration as well as you can see in the photos. Some people I have read said they had a hard time getting the cleaner off. I had no issues at all. I didn’t use the razor that came with the kit because I didn’t want to scratch my stove up per the other reviews. I put drops of cleaner directly on the stains, working one section at a time, maybe a dime size at most, I used the scrubber to spread the cleaner around and really scrubbed in all directions back and forth for about 5 mins. You can actually see the cleaner turning from white to like a brown color from removing all the burnt gunk on the stove top. I then used a dry paper towel and wiped the cleaner off and I could see the difference immediately. Any spots that weren’t totally clean I went back over a second time and it came off. My advice is not to let the cleaner sit on the stain thinking it needs to soak in, if it drys it will be like taking wax off a car. The scrubber does the work for you. After cleaning the entire stove top I then used a wet sponge to clean any residue and the results are in the pictures. On a whim I decided to try the cleaner on the stainless portion of my stove as well because I could not get those stains off with any cleaner I tried. I removed the dial caps and put the cleaner directly on the scrubber pad and scrubbed the stainless steel back and forth in sections and wiped off with a paper towel as well. I was amazed it got all the stains off and it left the stainless steel shiny like it had been polished. I then used it on my stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher. Everything in my kitchen now looks factory new. Buy this product today and you will not be disappointed. I’m actually telling all my family and friends that I will come to their house and clean their stove top for them because this product is that amazing!!!" — Roselyn Barrett

A gooey streak stained on a fridge the fridge without gunk anymore

15. Goo Gone is the perfect solution for removing those oh-so annoying stickers you thought were destined to stay on your furniture or glasses forever. Just a touch of this magic sauce, and there won't be a trace left.

Promising review: "So little effort, and it actually worked. I had some decals on the front door of my business that had been there for over 7 years that I wanted to remove. When I tied to pull them off, all the adhesive stayed on the window. It smelled awful. I tried everything to get it off the window: vinegar, sponges, Mr clean Magic eraser, and finally pan scrubbers. I realized I was risking damage to the window, but the adhesive would still there. A client who saw what I was trying to do about the time, recommended Goo Gone.I let my arm rest for the two days it took for Amazon to deliver the Goo Gone. I spread it on with a paper towel, and let it sit for a short period. Then I took a cleaning rag and careful removed the rest of the residue. Easy! Next day I removed another decal. I applied the Goo Gone to the thick adhesive residue, and let it sit. Immediately the odor stopped. Huge benefit! Then as I wiped it off, the residue fell like sticky little worms dropping to the ground. A little more clean up of the floor, and I was done. Now I can feel confident that the new decals will come off just as easy when I need to change them, as long as I have my Goo Gone." — Andy

Progression photo showing dark mold and mildew on shower tile grout disappearing between three applications

16. A mold and mildew remover that is easy to use and remove the gross buildup in your shower. All you have to do is apply it, let it sit, and then rinse. Yep, that's it.

Promising review: "Hated this enough to write this review Oh the irony that “thickness” and “clearness” are metrics they are asking me to rate this product on. It is both *very* thick and *very* clear- but in the nearly invisible and impossible to clean sort of way. This product has made a MESS of my shower for nearly a week. If left thick, gloppy, practically imperceptible lines of gelatinous bleach gel all over my tile shower walls. Despite being wiped down with a sponge and towel after each use this week I continue to find more each time I use the shower. I’ve ruined several towels with bleach stains trying to clean it up, but the ultimate irony is that the grout stains I was trying to treat remain completely unchanged. I could not recommend a product less." — EC

Promising review: "Impressive little carpet cleaner I’m very impressed with this little thing. I bought it because I have an area rug in my living room that my little a-hole rescue dog has had some accidents. It’s gray with a white pattern and the white parts were getting pretty gross. Most stains have come up in one pass. For the grosser ones, I spray them down before I take the pass, and they generally come up pretty easily. A couple of things to note: (1) the clean water/ solution tank and the dirty water tank have openings on opposite sides. The clean tank opens on the bottom. The dirty tank opens on the top. I spilled dirty water the first time because I incorrectly expected symmetry. (2) the fill tank can only hold so much. You can overfill it a bit, but if the water level raises above the handle intentions, it triggers an overflow valve and it will spill everywhere. (3) you’re going to need to order additional solution. The little bottle included will lot get you very far. And speaking of that little bottle: the instructions on the back say to use two capfuls. I have no idea what cap that’s referencing because that would only be a couple drops and you’re not going to get anything clean with that. I go by the “solution” market line on the tank. (4) the included instructions are terrible. The diagrams are not helpful and I pretty much figured it out on my own. That said, it’s not difficult once you just look at it." — MMcNew

blue foaming cleanser pushing its way out of the sink drain

21. A foaming garbage disposal cleaner you can use weekly to keep your sink clean and odor-free.

Promising review: "Takes away that gross smell... It seems counterintuitive to put a little packet down your garbage disposal to clean it, but this does actually seem to work, at least for getting out weird smells that baking soda and vinegar don't really touch. I scrub the sink down first, especially around the garbage disposal area, rinse it down, and then just follow the directions on the package. I have used it with single, large-size sinks and with double sinks - only difference is that the double sink will have blue cleaning foam rise up the drain, which you rinse away when the disposal sounds clear again. I have tried the foaming cleaner in a can, but unfortunately it stopped coming out of the can about 10% of the way through. Went back to this tried and true." — KS

Promising review: "Really, really works! Window washing should be hard and unpleasant and when finished, very unsatisfactory. That's why "I don't do windows" is a common mantra. I live in a house that had to be especially insulated to meet city code because I have more windows in my moderate sized home than has the Trump Tower. Nowadays everyone's yard man uses a high velocity blower to move all the dirt, dust and debris into the air and all around the neighborhood...so my windows accumulate a good coating of dirt from minutes after they are cleaned. Window services want about a months mortgage to clean my windows. I thought I'd give it a try, doing a few at a time and save myself the price of a new big screen tv. Glass cleaning with microfiber cloths seemed to be the way to go according to stuff I read on the internet, so I went to Amazon for product. Here's what I learned: clean your windows with a damp or wet rag...cotton will do and so will your car wash mitt...even just a high pressure garden hose with a sponge mop. Get em free of dirt. THEN, with this wonderful pack of cloths, wipe off any runs, drips, or residual dirt with the green cloth and follow up immediately, with the blue, with just enough pressure to wipe off any water beads. You can rub any tough spots with the green, but the blue is simply to wipe off the water...a very light touch and only enough passes to wipe off the water. Be sure to rinse your green cloths and wring out excess water so you don't just smear accumulated dirt on subsequent windows, and use a new blue when the current one shows signs of wet. You cannot do better with window cleaner, squeegees, newspaper, vinegar or any of the other things us older folks have used for years. These microfiber cloths are fantastic if you do my three step method. Not so sure about other brands, I did buy a large pack of other microfiber cloths but they ended up being used for step 1. This is a great product!" — sean

reviewer pic showing before, during, and after using the tub cleaner and how it gets all the gunk out of it

24. Some Oh Yuck jetted tub cleaner that's appropriately named. I bet that's exactly what you're going to say after you use it in your tub. And then you'll probably question how clean you got last time you took a bath...

Promising review: "Does the job Love this stuff.I was skeptical at first. I am a huuuuuge germaphobe and this worked well enough for me to actually take a bath at my new place with the jets on.I used the product as directed on the bottle; fill the tub with warm/hot water above the jets (I did 1-2" above) drop in 4oz of product and turn the jets on for 15 minutes. It's nice because the bottle is 16oz and marks points at 4oz,8oz,and 12oz so you don't even need a measuring cup or anything. So the first time I cleaned the tub I used this for the recommended 15 minutes. I wasn't sure what to expect because I just moved in, so I bought a Scum Bug to absorb oils as well. To my surprise, it looked like hardy any oils came out but there were a bit of black and brown specks.I ran just water through after the first treatment with Oh Yuk for 15 minutes with jets on.Next, I used bleach. It's recommended to only use bleach in these tubs for very heavy soiling, and since I am just moving in and didn't know what to expect, I reasoned with myself to use it this one time. I did not mix in any dishwasher detergent because, well, I forgot it at the store lol. I'm going to be maintaining the tub with detergent and Oh Yuk.Anyway, so next I used bleach. Filled tub with water above the jets, poured in bleach, ran jets for 15 minutes. Even less junk came out. Emptied tub, filled with water only, ran jets for another 15 minutes. Then cleaned the tub and shower area with a cleaner, rinsed, and notices that I could move the jets to face different directions.. so I moved them around and cleaned between the crevices. They look shiny for the most part now. Just a few white specks caked on.I came back later and did another round of Oh Yuk for 15 minutes, then water after the Oh Yuk had drained for another 15 minutes. At this point it looked really nice and no more specks were jetting out.The picture I included was after Oh Yuk the last time. I didn't get the heavily soiled look or bubbles like a lot of photos. I wasn't even sure if mine was working lol but it did. I took a bath after this and turned the jets on and the water was still clear.Going to buy some more for maintenance. Also, the instructions for the product are on the bottle. :)" — Ann

reviewer before-and-after photo showing their stainless steel sink looking brand new after using stainless steel cleaner

26. A natural coconut oil-based stainless steel cleaner to clean, polish, and protect your sink, fridge, and oven.

Promising review: "FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY TO GO OLD SCHOOL I've tried to use several stainless steel cleaners on my expensive fridge. It kept getting worse. After buying this product, which did absolutely nothing, I realized, based on another reviewer, that indeed it was just polishing without cleaning it. It would just spread the dirt and oil all around! I went the old fashion way and used a paste of baking soda with water. I was scared at first but desperate! Using that solution, my fridge looks brand new! No scratches and it actually cleaned and shined it! Make sure you use a soft wet cloth to apply, soft wet cloth to rinse, and a dry soft cloth to dry. You'll be amazed and your welcome!" — rlew

A customer review photo of the dryer vent cleaner filled with the dirt it collected

28. A dryer vent cleaning kit that you attach to your vacuum to remove all the dust, lint, and other debris that is hiding in your dryer. This 2.5-foot kit will get in there deep and remove so much stuff you will be shocked how your dryer has even worked up to this point.

Promising review: "MOTHER OF PEARL, BUY THIS Sweet holy Jesus this deserves 10 stars! I am the first owner of my home and bought a new Bosch washer and dryer at that point, fifteen years ago. (I mentioned the brand to try and impress you - did it work? No? All right.) I knew how important it is to keep your dryer vent clean to prevent fires and keep everything working properly, but that easily slipped my mind (because I was a 20-something and loved tequila)... UNTIL NOW!I have an old-timey Dyson Animal from the pre-ball pivot design, so don’t worry - this will work on your vacuum. This is important to note because the dust canister on this vacuum is huge. I FILLED THE WHOLE THING. It was so satisfyingly disgusting that I honestly don’t know how close I was to a home fire. This cheap little getup likely got me more time (and faster drying) with my dryer and prevented completely avoidable tragedy. It’s the best $7 I’ve ever spent, and that’s including some really good sandwiches." — Elle Park

Reviewer pic showing before and after using the oven cleaner, with lots of grime on the right and a completely spotless and clean oven on the left

29. A can of fume-free oven cleaner that's super easy to use to transform the inside of your oven. Just spray it, wait for it to dissolve all the stains, and then wipe it away. You'll be left with a spotless oven ready to take on whatever baking challenge you think of next.

Promising review: "(Easy Off + Nasty Oven) + (Beer + John Mayer) = Grease Smackdown! I'm a little embarrassed to write this review; it's been ~6 years since my last oven cleaning... After seeing the results, I couldn't help but spread the word.Sure, it took some beer, a little John Mayer, and a lot of elbo grease, but I got the job done, thanks to this handy little product. It did require two treatments; however, given the circumstances, this product accomplished quite a feat in just an hour. The attached pictures speak for themselves." — William Fredericks

reviewer image showing a large red wine stain on the carpetsame reviewer showing how you can't see the stain anymore after using the spray

30. A wine stain-removing spray is perfect for those inevitable spills that happen during happy hour or movie night. Red wine is too good not to drink, so don't be held back by the fear of ruining your carpet, furniture, or anything else that gets in its way!

Promising review: "Works Great for Even Set-in Red Wine or Berry Stains! This stuff is like a miracle on those tough red wine or dark berry stains! Even works well on Dark Chocolate! My husband is the 'Stain King' & on our last vacation he put some berries from a buffet into the pocket of his brand new khaki shorts (Why, you ask? Never got a good answer for this one!). As you can then figure, the berries, during the course of the day & while riding home in the suitcase got mashed up & stained the shorts pretty badly. (Luckily they didn't get on anything else in the suitcase.) When I unpacked, the stains had set for about 2 days & I thought the shorts were going to be ruined. I saw this product online & ordered it and it got every bit of the set-in berry stains out! It was like magic, I sprayed it on & it just DISAPPEARED! As I said, have also had the opportunity to try it on several red wine & dark chocolate stains and it's been a miracle for getting them out without any damage to the material. No fading at all, just takes out the stain!" — Linda R. Shinsky
